This little guy is a friend of our son and daughter in-law. Rowan was in a few weeks ago for his six month portraits – have you ever seen such an expressive face?! This slide show gives you an idea of our typical six month baby session for those clients that are part of our Bebe Steps portrait club.

Rowan and his Mom and Dad live next door to our son and his wife in St. Paul. They were in need of some six month photos and Kate had been wanting to make lasagna, so we invited everyone down. (the lasagna batch is too much for the two of us to eat) Rowan came with a bunch of outfits and this chair that an uncle had made for him. We had the other props in the basement from our Limited Edition “Day at the Shore” promotion so we added them in.  Rowan was great and pretty much smiled all day!!

At six months of age we try to capture images of the baby sitting up on their own. Morgan is ahead of her time and decided to show off and get her six and nine month milestones out of the way in one session!! Standing at six months!!!

This is Max at six months. He was a pretty serious guy at this session until we laid him on his tummy. Six months are almost always my favorite sessions. Babies this age are ready to smile at anybody – even me.
